The Avi-on Home app allows customers with GE-branded Bluetooth devices to control in-wall and plug-in switches using their smartphone. It is important to note that Avi-on no longer has a contractual relationship with the manufacturer, Jasco Products, or any obligation to support GE by Jasco Products. Furthermore, these products are no longer being sold. Avi-on continues to provide support for these devices as a courtesy to existing users.

Avi-on Home is a highly secure system that requires login credentials and location services. The login process ensures that only authorized individuals can operate the lights. The use of location services allows for features like scheduling events based on sunrise and sunset. Once the schedules are programmed, they can operate without the need for an active internet connection or the user's phone to be nearby.

To control GE-branded devices via Wi-Fi, an Avi-on Remote Access Bridge is necessary. All schedules and settings are stored on a Bluetooth chip inside each device. Avi-on allows multiple users to control multiple devices through a single account. Account information and settings are securely saved in the Avi-on cloud, providing instant backup. If you desire Wi-Fi access, 24/7 clock synchronization, and/or compatibility with Alexa, you can install the optional Avi-on Remote Access Bridge (RAB).

To get started with the Avi-on system, follow these steps:

• Ensure that your Avi-on compatible device is powered by wiring it or plugging it in (plug-in switch or dimmer, in-wall switch or dimmer, or outdoor switch).
• Use a smartphone or tablet with a current operating system that supports Bluetooth and has strong Wi-Fi access.
• Download the latest version of the Avi-on Home App. Register your account and password. Be sure to check your spam folder for verification and password emails.
